The Deferred Compensation Committee was established for the purpose of acting on behalf of the County in connection with plan administration and the investments made available to plan participants under the Deferred Compensation 457(b) Retirement Plan.
Committee responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Attend committee meetings
- Select and oversee investment options
- Conduct RFP and RFIs for recordkeeper & other consultants/service providers
- Provide a secondary level of appeals
- Avoid conflicts of interest
- Appoint committee members
Assisting the committee in its responsibilities are the Benefits & Wellness staff, a 3rd party investment consultant and a recordkeeper.
