UPDATE (January 3, 2025): Wilsonville Police identify woman found dead inside RV

On Thursday, January 2, 2025, the Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy of the deceased woman found inside a recreational vehicle (RV) on December 31, 2024, in Wilsonville.
The Medical Examiner's Office has identified the woman as Catherine Grace Crosse, age 41, of Wilsonville, and the manner of death as a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are seeking anyone with information that could help with the investigation.
Wilsonville Police investigate Dec. 30th shooting; suspect arrested in Salem

At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, deputies from the Wilsonville Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near an apartment complex in the 26000 block of SW Canyon Creek Road, Wilsonville. Multiple 911 callers reported hearing an argument in the area followed by gunshots.
Sheriff’s Office arrests man suspected of assaulting 86-year-old man in store parking lot

On Friday, December 27, 2024, at approximately 2:15 p.m., the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an assault call in the 8900 block of SE 82nd Avenue in unincorporated Clackamas County. Witnesses reported seeing a man assaulting another man in a grocery store parking lot.

UPDATE (January 2, 2025): Sheriff’s Office arrests second suspect in parking lot shooting

On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carlos Raul Hererra-Medrano, age 20 of Gresham, on charges related to the shooting in the parking area near Clackamas Town Center on December 20, 2024.
Herrera-Medrano was arrested in Gresham with assistance from our law enforcement partners at the U.S. Marshals Service. He was booked into the Clackamas County Jail where he is being held without bail on charges of Attempted murder in the second degree and Assault in the second degree.
