Scattered Site Public Housing

The Housing Authority of Clackamas County (HACC) has a Public Housing Scattered Site portfolio that includes 145 single-family homes distributed throughout our geographically large county.

What is Happening with these Properties?

Clackamas County's public housing is aging and no longer able to be maintained. Due to this and to changes in the Federal Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD), current public housing residents will receive a Section 8 voucher to rent a safe, decent, and affordable privately owned rental housing in a location of their choice. Current residents will receive help to make sure they find an appropriate rental.

HACC plans to sell its single family home portfolio to organizations that specialize in affordable homeownership or to community-based partners that will utilize the homes for assisting households most in need.
