Signature Challenge Resolution Letters - November 2024 General Election

Information to resolve a ballot signature challenge

Challenged ballots are ballots received by Clackamas County Elections which have not been counted due to an issue with the ballot. Two of the most common challenged ballot types include:

  1. Missing Signature
  2. Non-Matching Signature

When a ballot has been challenged, Clackamas County Elections will mail the voter a written statement that describes the nature of the challenge (a postage paid envelope is enclosed with the letter).

If you received a message from Track Your Ballot notifying you that there's a problem with your ballot, a letter will be mailed to your address on file. If you prefer to expedite the process, you can contact our office to determine the reason it was challenged. Then you can download the letter related to your challenged ballot below. It will take a few steps to complete.
