Official Ballot Drop Sites in Clackamas County

Ballots must be mailed with a valid postmark or returned to an Official Ballot Drop Site before 8 p.m. on Election Night, Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Clackamas County Elections mailed ballots to voters beginning Oct. 16. If you have not received your ballot by mail delivery on Wednesday, Oct. 23 please contact Clackamas County Elections.

The Voter Registration Deadline was Oct. 15 for new Oregon voters.  Already registered voters can update their voter registration until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters who have moved, need to update their residence or mailing address, need an absentee ballot, need to update their signature on file, or have changed their name are permitted to update their voter registration information until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 5. Voters that are active or inactive can take steps to update their voter registration record and receive a ballot for the November 5, 2024 General Election. Voter registration can be checked or updated at oregonvotes.gov.

Aug. 29, 2024Last day for candidates who file for candidacy with the County Clerk, to file an optional statement for the Voters' Pamphlet with Clackamas County Elections.
Sept. 5, 2024Last day for jurisdictions to file Notice of Measure Election for inclusion.
Sept. 9, 2024Voters' Pamphlet Submission Deadline -  Last day for voters to submit a measure argument for inclusion in County Voters' Pamphlet.
Sept. 9, 2024Voters' Pamphlet Submission Deadline - Last day for a city candidate to submit a candidate statement for inclusion in County Voters' Pamphlet.

Sept. 19, 2024Clackamas County Elections mails ballots to Military and Overseas voters.
Sept. 23, 2024Absentee and early ballots are available.
Oct. 7, 2024Clackamas County Elections mails ballots to out-of-state voters.
Oct. 15, 2024Voter Registration Deadline. The Elections Division will be open until 7:00 p.m. to serve voters. New Oregon voters can register to vote online at oregonvotes.gov, mail a voter registration form, or register in person. Mailed registrations must be postmarked today. Voter registration can be checked or updated at oregonvotes.gov.
Oct. 16, 2024Clackamas County Elections mails ballots to voters. Clackamas County Elections will open Official Ballot Drop Sites.
Nov. 5, 2024Election Day - Clackamas County Elections will be open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.  Official Ballot Drop Sites will be closed at 8 p.m.  Ballots must be mailed with a postmark on this date or received in an Official Ballot Drop Site before 8 p.m. First unofficial results will be posted and available shortly after 8 p.m.

  1. Complete candidate filing.
  2. Complete Candidate Statement and optional Endorsement Form
  3. Include fee listed above, fee for County candidates is $300. Voters' Pamphlet Statement fees listed by filed positions.
  4. Submission deadline for County candidates: 5:00 pm on August 29th.
  5. Submission deadline for City or District candidates: 5:00 pm on September 9th.
