Standard Monument Boxes
No substitutions allowed.
In accordance with the Clackamas County Code, monument boxes are required for all public land corner monuments that fall within paved areas and also for centerline monuments within or, if applicable, outside the boundary of subdivision, partition and condominium plats.
The following monument boxes (frames) and covers have been approved for use in Clackamas County:
- 8" inch frames and covers: typically acceptable for most local streets (subdivisions) with speeds of less than 35 miles per hour.
- 12 " inch frames and covers: required for streets or County Roads of a higher speed classification (speeds over 35 miles per hour).
