On July 31, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released the FY 2024-2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). This funding is designed to support programs that help individuals transition from homelessness into permanent housing.
The local competition for FY 2024-2025 CoC funding is now open, and we encourage all eligible organizations to apply.
The CoC is committed to ensuring a transparent and accessible process for accepting and considering proposals, including those from organizations that have not previously received CoC Program funding. Community insight and new project proposals are vital to the success of our mission to end homelessness in Clackamas County.
We also want to highlight that the CoC actively seeks input from individuals and organizations with experience in homelessness or a vested interest in preventing or ending homelessness in the region. This includes people with lived experience of homelessness actively participating in project application evaluation and scoring, and recurring housing services community meetings.
Project applications are due Monday, Sept. 9, 11:59 p.m. This includes ESNAPS application, survey responses, and score cards submitted to rsmithroller@clackamas.us.
Available funding:
- CoC Bonus: $666,214
- DV Bonus: $397,607
Note: The CoC Bonus funds available this year have nearly doubled compared to last year.
All agencies planning to apply are strongly encouraged to read the NOFO in its entirety and to regularly visit the HUD CoC Competition website for updates.
Clackamas County CoC Staff will submit the final CoC Consolidated Application and CoC Priority Listing to HUD by Oct. 30, 2024, at 8 p.m. EST.
For any questions or if you require accommodations or assistance in the application process, please contact Raina Smith-Roller, CoC Lead, at rsmithroller@clackamas.us.
This notice is designed to be accessible to everyone. We look forward to your participation in this critical effort to end homelessness in our community.
