OREGON CITY, Or. -- A registered sex offender who attempted to meet with a 15-year-old girl for sexual purposes was sentenced to 30 months in prison on Monday.
Christopher Dylan Guy, 55, was convicted in Clackamas County Circuit Court on charges of Luring a Minor and Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the Second Degree. Both are Class C felonies.
In December 2023, Guy repeatedly chatted online with a person he thought was an underage teenage girl. In fact, it was a Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office detective. The conversations were sexually explicit and included plans to meet in person.
Guy, who lives in the Oak Grove area, was convicted in 2007 on multiple counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree. He was sentenced to 75 months in prison and required to register as a sex offender. The victim in that case was a girl under the age of 14.
Senior Deputy District Attorney Russell Amos prosecuted the recent case.
