Clackamas County Elections Processes the Vast Majority of Ballots for the November 5, 2024 General Election
Unofficial election results release is posted for Friday, Nov. 8.
Oregon City, OR - The sixth unofficial election results report for the November 5, 2024 General Election was released at 4:31 p.m. today. Clackamas County Elections has tallied 225,184 ballots. This latest results update represents the vast majority of all accepted ballots. The next unofficial election results release will be Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m.
Unofficial election results and the election results release schedule are posted online at www.clackamas.us/elections/unofficial-november-5-2024-general-election-results . Unofficial election results will continue to follow that schedule. Final official results will be certified Dec. 2.
Clackamas County Elections will continue to receive and process on-time ballots through the USPS mail through Tuesday, Nov. 12. In addition, voters who forgot to sign their ballot return envelope or their signature did not match have up until 21 days after Election Day (Nov. 26) to address the issue so that we can count their vote. Voters are notified via letter if their signature has been challenged. Voters signed up for Track Your Ballot are also notified via text, phone, or email.
Track Your Ballot Service
Clerk McMullen recommends that Clackamas County voters not already signed up for Track Your Ballot do so before the next election in May 2025, joining the 55,603 (17.34%) county voters that have already signed up for the service. With Track Your Ballot voters can receive alerts via text, phone, or email letting them know when their ballot has been mailed to them. After you vote and return your ballot, you will be alerted when it has been accepted for counting. Voters can sign up at clackamas.us/elections/track-your-ballot .
Clackamas County Clerk and Elections will be closed Monday, Nov. 11 in observance of the federal Veterans Day holiday. The next scheduled workday will be Tuesday, Nov. 12. Our normal business hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. The observer scheduled is available at www.clackamas.us/elections/november-5-2024-general-election .
