More than 10,000 Clackamas County Voters Choose to Track Their Ballots in Advance of the November 5, 2024 General Election

Image showing messages on mobile phone.Oregon City, OR – As of October 1st, Clackamas County Elections reports that 10,044 Clackamas County voters have signed up for Track Your Ballot, a service that allows voters to know where their ballot is in the voting process from mailed to accepted.

Track Your Ballot enables voters to receive notifications by text, phone, or email about the status of their vote-by-mail ballots, from the time Clackamas County Elections mails the outgoing ballot packet to the voter, to when their voted ballot is returned and counted by the elections office.

Clerk Catherine McMullen reinstated the service for Clackamas County voters in August 2023, sharing that “it is a useful tool that we offer, enabling a secure, transparent, and hassle-free voting experience.”

Voters can use Track Your Ballot as they get ready to vote in the upcoming November 5, 2024 General Election.  Receive an alert when your ballot is mailed to you. After you vote and return your ballot, be alerted when it has been received by the elections office and accepted for counting. If you forget to sign your ballot return envelope or your signature does not match the signature on your voter registration record, you will receive a notification through Track Your Ballot in addition to a mailed letter from the elections office on how to ensure your vote can be counted. Your vote remains anonymous and confidential. Track Your Ballot is a free service for the voter provided by Clackamas County Elections.

There is still plenty of time for voters to use the service for this election.  Sign up online for Track Your Ballot at clackamas.us/elections/track-your-ballot.

The Voter Registration Deadline is Oct. 15.  You can register to vote or update your voter registration online at oregonvotes.gov. Clackamas County Elections will mail ballots to voters beginning Oct. 16.
