Septic staff will be available by appointment only starting Sept. 30

Beginning Monday, Sept. 30, Septic staff will be available by appointment only for in-person and online meetings:

• 1-4 p.m. on Mondays (or on Tuesday, if Monday is a holiday)
• Thursdays, 8 a.m.-noon

Customers who would like to talk with Septic staff in person or on Zoom are asked to schedule an appointment in advance, in one of two ways:

• Schedule an appointment online
• Call the Septic Office at 503-742-4740

Septic staff will continue to respond to questions by email at septicinfo@clackamas.us or by telephone at 503-742-4740.

Currently Septic staff is available for drop-in visitors from 8 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday-Thursday, which means one staff member must always be available in the office even if there are no customers, which takes away from other tasks such as permit review. With limited resources, only four staff members and the need for staff to work in the field, providing specific appointment times will help Septic staff provide service more efficiently and effectively.
