Voter turnout is at 35.82%, with all ballots received through May 23. 

Clackamas County Elections team is working until 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday to ensure unofficial results releases stay on schedule.

Election workers process ballots.Oregon City, OR – As of 5 p.m. Thursday, May 23 voter turnout is at 35.82% (112,012 voters) for the May 21, 2024 Primary Election.  This updated figure includes all ballots received Election Day, and all on-time ballots received through the USPS mail Wednesday and Thursday. 

Clackamas County Elections will continue to receive and process on-time ballots through the USPS mail through Tuesday, May 28. In addition, voters who forgot to sign their ballot return envelope or their signature did not match have up until 21 days after Election Day (Deadline - June 11) to address the issue so that we can count their vote. Voters are notified via letter if their signature has been challenged.

Unofficial Election Results Update

An updated unofficial election results report was also released at 4:37 p.m. today. To-date Clackamas County Elections has tallied 88,941 ballots, and all are part of the most recent unofficial election results update. The next unofficial election results release will be tomorrow, May 23 at 5 p.m.

Unofficial election results and the election results release schedule are posted online at clackamas.us/elections/may-21-2024-primary-election. Unofficial election results will continue to follow that schedule.

Clerk Catherine McMullen has a full team of sworn election staff working extended hours through the week until all ballots have been processed and tallied. Final official results will be certified June 14.
