Clackamas County is completing a Child Care Scholarship project funded with Community Development Block Grant funds from the Oregon Business Development Department. The location of the project is countywide. It is estimated that the project has benefited at least 75 persons of whom 100% are low or moderate income.
A public hearing will be held by the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners at 10 a.m. on April 25 at the Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Rd, Oregon City, OR (4th Floor Board Room).
The purpose of the hearing is for the Board of Commissioners to obtain citizens views about the project and to take comments about the local government's performance. Written comments are also welcome and must be received by April 17, 2024 at dstammthomas@clackamas.us. Both oral and written comments will be reviewed by the Board of Commissioners.
The location of the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Please let Dani Stamm Thomas at 971-288-8264 or dstammthomas@clackamas.us know if you need any special accommodations to attend or participate in the hearing.
More information about the Oregon Community Development Block Grant program and the project is available for public review at Clackamas County Children, Family, & Community Connections during regular office hours (advance notice is requested) or by request at dstammthomas@clackamas.us.
