Public welcome to attend
The Clackamas County Walk-Bike Advisory Committee (WBAC) is scheduled to hold a virtual meeting from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 26. The public is welcome to attend and provide input during the public comment portion of the agenda.
This committee, made up of community members and technical experts, advises the county’s Walk Bike Clackamas Plan project, which is working to improve walking, bicycling and rolling opportunities throughout the county.
The WBAC meeting will be held virtually on Zoom. Zoom link information and the meeting agenda and background materials will be available at https://www.clackamas.us/engineering/bikewalk.
The completed Walk Bike Clackamas County project will include:
- Policy priorities related to biking and walking;
- A prioritized list of construction projects to make biking and walking safer and more accessible throughout unincorporated Clackamas County;
- A list of potential program investments to:
- increase access to pedestrian and bicycle facilities and
- encourage more people to walk and bike;
- Performance measures to track progress toward plan implementation.
