Clackamas County is seeking community members interested in serving on the Aging Services Advisory Council or Veterans Advisory Council.

The Aging Services Advisory Council advises county agencies on matters that impact seniors and disabled persons. Council members participate in the evaluation of various aging related programs in the county, including senior centers, caregiving services, health issues, and volunteering opportunities. Meetings are the third Monday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., except July and August.

The Veterans Advisory Council advises the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners and the Department of Health, Housing and Human Services on all matters relating to services to veterans, their families and dependents. The Veterans Advisory Council also makes recommendations regarding current issues affecting veterans, their families and dependents. Meetings are the fourth Thursday of each month from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Clackamas County is committed to ensuring our advisory boards and commissions reflect the diverse perspectives and experiences of our county residents. We actively seek members from all regions of the county, and all races, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and cultures.
