Volunteer work is an opportunity to connect with community for DA staff

LoveOne is a non-profit organization serving neighbors in Clackamas County by providing clean laundry, showers, meals, personal care resources and community connections. Staff members from Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office have been volunteering at their Oregon City event held at Brax Laundry every month for about a year. DA staff help pass out hygiene products, provide meals, assist folks with their laundry needs and provide access to warm showers. 

The goal of the event is to show kindness and dignity to all our neighbors by making connections and relationships. At every event, there is an opportunity to meet a new person and to reconnect with friends.
