The Clackamas County HB 2017 Transit Advisory Committee will meet June 10, 2022, to discuss proposed transit projects to recommend for state funding.

The meeting will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. online at meet.google.com/xcg-tkqo-qqz or call in to 346-314-0410 (PIN 555017058). The public is welcome to attend to listen and to comment or ask questions during the public input portion of the agenda.

The committee will review and discuss specific proposed transit projects, and vote on a recommendation for which projects to include in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund (STIF) Plan to be submitted to the Oregon Transportation Commission (OTC) by TriMet.

The committee was formed in 2018 in response to the Oregon State Legislature’s passage of House Bill 2017. HB2017 established the STIF, which provided a new, dedicated source of funds to expand public transportation around Oregon.

The committee, made up of representatives from public transit agencies and diverse groups within Clackamas County, is charged with:

  • Reviewing proposed projects to be funded by the STIF funds in Clackamas County areas outside of the TriMet district.
  • Recommending projects to incorporate into the broader transit plan that will be submitted by TriMet (the qualified entity for the area, as specified in the law) to the OTC for approval.
