Where are we headed as a county, and why?
In the first virtual Town Hall event of 2022 for Clackamas County Commissioners, residents are being asked to answer the question: “Where are we headed as a county, and why?”
The event will be held on Wednesday, April 6, from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
This is a completely open forum for residents to raise any hopes or concerns with the direction of Clackamas County on any topic affecting our community. Commissioners want to hear directly from residents on what they believe are the critical issues facing the county, and whether they like where #ClackCo is generally headed.
Possible topics raised by residents could include (but are in no way limited to):
- Homelessness / supportive housing / housing affordability
- Land use
- The local economy / economic development
- Public safety
- Mental health resources/treatment & addiction treatment
- Transportation
The event will be recorded and archived to the county’s YouTube channel the following day.
Please note that members of the public who speak may be limited with their time. The final speaking time is decided during the event, depending on turnout.
Residents also have the option of emailing their comments ahead of time. Not all comments will be relayed by the moderator, due to time constraints and priority being given to those individuals speaking live on Zoom. Emailed comments should not exceed 100 words, and can be sent to ClackCoNews@clackamas.us with "Direction Town Hall" as the subject line.
