Listening Session - Oct. 26, 2020

Supporting children, schools/child care topic of next Listening Session

What do commissioners need to know about what #ClackCo children and their families are experiencing? This conversation can include thoughts on school operations and plans, child care issues, or anything related. Here’s what commissioners would like to hear about:

  • How is the distance learning model working for children at the elementary school, middle school, and high school levels? How is it working for families?
  • What are the ongoing concerns of community members involving child care options? Are there different concerns for the upcoming winter?
  • Are technology gaps hurting our children?

#ClackCo commissioners would like to hear from residents so that they can better understand what residents are experiencing and best advocate for our county at the state and local levels. Commissioners do not oversee, nor have any authority over, local school district operations within the county.

Guests

  • Commissioner Sonya Fischer
  • Commissioner Martha Schrader
