Come join us for the Down the River Cleanup on September 8! We will be sweeping a 22-mile stretch of the Clackamas River from Milo McIver State Park to Clackamette Park for trash. 

You can choose to volunteer on-land or on-water. All on-land volunteers meet at Riverside Park. 

On-water volunteers choose between four sections:

  • Milo McIver to Barton Park
  • Barton Park to Carver Park
  • Carver Park to Riverside Park
  • Riverside Park to Clackamette Park

What is provided: bags for garbage and recycling, gloves, trash grabbers, safety captains, waivers, and a FREE cookout afterwards.

What you provide: help cleaning the river! Your own boat/kayak, your own shuttle, life vest, hat, sunscreen, water, snacks.
