Take a FREE QPR Suicide Prevention Training

If someone close to you talked about wanting to end their life, what would you do? QPR is an introductory training for anyone wanting to learn how to help a person with thoughts of suicide. Participants learn how to identify the warning signs, how to approach and inquire and how to connect the person with supports by following three simple steps – Question, Persuade & Refer.

Participants will also learn about the prevalence of suicide, risk factors, and common myths about suicide. The training includes a booklet that summarizes the training and a list of helpful local, state and national resources. This proven training is widely used and is incredibly effective.

Clackamas Community College and Clackamas County Health, Housing and Human Services invite you to join us for a FREE QPR Suicide Prevention Training.
