Resources and Information

The Voter Registration Deadline is April 29 for new Oregon voters. Already registered voters can update their voter registration until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters who have moved, need to update their residence or mailing address, need an absentee ballot, need to update their signature on file, or have changed their name are permitted to update their voter registration information until 8 p.m. on Election Day, May 20. Voters that are active or inactive can take steps to update their voter registration record and receive a ballot for the May 20, 2025 Special District Election. Voter registration can be checked or updated at oregonvotes.gov.

Clackamas County Elections will mail ballots to voters beginning April 30. If you do not receive your ballot by mail delivery on Wednesday, May 7 please contact Clackamas County Elections.

Ballots must be mailed with a valid postmark or returned to an Official Ballot Drop Site before 8 p.m. on Election Night, Tuesday, May 20.

February 10	First day a district candidate can file a declaration of candidacy and pay the required filing fee and/or a nominating petition with Clackamas County Elections. Qualifications to hold office in Special Districts.
February 18	Candidate Open House will be held at the Clackamas County Elections Office at 2:00 pm. Open to the public and to candidates.
February 28	Last day for a city or district governing board to file a Request for Ballot Title with local election official.
March 20	Last day a district candidate can file a declaration of candidacy and pay the required filing fee and/or a nominating petition with Clackamas County Elections. Must be received by 5:00 p.m.
March 20	Last day for a special district or city to file Notice of Measure Election with Clackamas County Elections. Must be received by 5:00 p.m.
March 24	Last day for a district candidate to submit a candidate statement for inclusion in the county voters' pamphlet. Must be received by 5:00 p.m.
March 24	Last day to submit a measure argument for inclusion in the county voters' pamphlet. Must be received by 5:00 p.m.
April 3	Candidate Open House will be held at the Clackamas County Elections Office at 2:00 pm. Open to the public and candidates.

May 20	The elections Oregon City office and Happy Valley Vote Center are open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Ballots must be mailed back with a valid postmark on or before Election Day or returned to an Official Ballot Drop Site before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
June 13	County Clerk will certify election.
