We monitor customer service standards for cable television operations in the unincorporated areas of the county. (Individual cities within the county regulate customer service for the cable companies operating within their boundaries.) The services we provide include:
- Resolution of complaints between subscribers and cable operators
- Review of certain cable rate changes
- Approval of franchise renewals and transfers whenever a cable company serving the unincorporated areas of the county meets acceptable standards.
By contractual arrangement with Willamette Falls Media Center, residents from the unincorporated area of Clackamas County have the opportunity to produce their own programs to air on local public access television. Willamette Falls Media Center is located at 1101 Jackson St., Oregon City.
