Clackamas County Elections Places New Official Ballot Drop Site at the Clackamas Community College Oregon City Campus

Official Ballot Drop Site placed at the Clackamas Community College Oregon City campusOregon City, OR – Clackamas County Elections has placed the county’s newest official ballot drop box at Clackamas Community College. The new official ballot drop box was recently installed at the college’s Oregon City campus at 19600 Molalla Ave. It is located near the TriMet bus station and Orange Lot in the student drop-off area. Voters can easily drive, walk, or roll up to drop off a voted ballot. There is safe, accessible access for drivers and pedestrians.

The new location is one of twenty-six official ballot drop sites available throughout Clackamas County. Official ballot drop sites will open starting Oct. 16, the same day that ballots begin to be mailed for the November 5, 2024 General Election.

“We are grateful to partner with the college and each of the libraries, municipal buildings, and other locations that host one of our official ballot drop boxes each election.” Clerk Catherine McMullen shared, “We have official ballot drop sites as far as 40 miles away at the Hoodland Public Library and as close as just outside the front door of the elections office.  Each is part of an important network that provides accessible voting options to Clackamas County voters.”

The Voter Registration Deadline is Oct. 15.  You can register to vote or update your voter registration online at oregonvotes.gov.

There are two ways to return your voted ballot – by mail or official ballot drop site. You can mail your voted ballot back with a valid postmark on or before Election Day, Nov. 5, 2024. No stamp needed! We recommend mailing your voted ballot by Nov. 1, the Friday before Election Day. You can also deposit your ballot at any official ballot drop site in the state until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 5, 2024. Find your nearest official ballot drop site at clackamas.us/elections.
