CCSO Case #25-003798

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, at approximately 12:50 p.m., Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress in the 12000 block of SW Wilsonville Rd, in unincorporated Clackamas County, near Wilsonville. The homeowner had reported seeing two individuals, a male and a female suspect, inside the home, and a related vehicle outside his home, using a security camera.

When deputies arrived, they located the suspect’s vehicle with two people inside. The driver attempted to get away from responding deputies by driving through a field but became stuck in the mud. The male suspect, later identified as Jesus Camarena, ran from the vehicle. Deputies were able to catch up and arrest him with the assistance of two nearby community members.

The female suspect stayed inside the vehicle until another responding deputy took her into custody. She originally gave a false name to deputies but was later identified as Julia Rose Sanftleben. The 2019 Toyota Grand Highlander had previously been reported stolen out of Keizer.

Deputies believe the suspects entered the home illegally multiple times and left with various items from inside. Deputies also found multiple identifications, gift cards, and mail in the vehicle that did not belong to them as well as what appeared to be meth and other drug-related materials. Both suspects were transported and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail.

Jesus Camarena, age 28, from Woodburn, is being held without bail on charges of Burglary in the First Degree, Theft in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Eluding a Police Officer, and Identity Theft.

Julia Rose Sanftleben, age 26, from Aurora, is being held without bail on charges of Burglary in the First Degree, Theft in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), False Info to Police, Identity Theft, and two outstand warrants.
