Sheriff’s Office launches 2024 'Pink Patch Project' with new, exclusive design

Date

CCSO Pink Patch 2024

For the first time ever, the American Cancer Society projects more than 2 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in 2024. In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is once again participating in the PinkPatchProject in support of everyone fighting this disease, the survivors, and in memory of those we have lost.

Beginning today and throughout the month, the Sheriff's Office is joining public safety agencies across the country in wearing custom pink patches or badges to promote breast cancer awareness. In doing so, we hope to spark conversations within the community and promote the importance of early detection and ongoing efforts against this disease.

Members of the community can also help raise awareness and support our cancer-fighting efforts by buying a pink patch of their own!

This year, the Sheriff's Office is offering the new 2024 pink patch design, a pink K9-themed patch, and the "classic" legacy pink patch design used in previous years (while supplies last). Proceeds will once again go to the Providence Willamette Falls Medical Foundation Endowment Fund for the Carol Danielson Suzuki Cancer Center, located right here in Clackamas County.

Patches are just $10 each, and there are two ways to purchase:

1. IN PERSON: Order a patch in person at the Public Safety Training Center

(12700 SE 82nd Ave Clackamas, OR 97015) during normal business hours.

2. ONLINE: Click here and select "Pink Patch" as your gift application. [ https://secure.etransfer.com/eft/flexblockcode/donation1.cfm?d2org=CCPOBF&d2tool=donate ]
