EARLIER (February 25) -- Happy Valley Police Department Investigating Attempted Sexual Assault at Mount Talbert Nature Park; tips sought

Shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, deputies assigned to the Happy Valley Police Department responded to the report of an attempted sexual assault at Mount Talbert Nature Park located at 10945 SE Mather Road, in Happy Valley.
Deputies contacted an adult female victim who reported she was out for a run with her dog on the park’s trail system when she was attacked. The victim was able to defend herself and get away from the suspect.
The suspect is described as an unshaven, white male, approximately 5’10” tall, average build, wearing a black hoodie with the letter “C” on it, baseball cap, black sweatpants, sneakers, and cloth or leather black gloves.
Clackamas County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to the Happy Valley Police Department will be conducting enhanced patrols in the area of Mount Talbert Nature Park.
