Clackamas County is installing an improved stop warning system at the corner of Barlow Road and Lone Elder. The work may result in some lane closures and traffic guided by flaggers the week of Nov. 26.

The improvements will provide solar flashers on the stop signs at the intersection as well as yellow flashers on “stop ahead” warning signs. The current poles that hold the four-way flashers over the roadway have been hit repeatedly by turning vehicles. The new system will eliminate that problem by installing solar flashers on top of the stop signs.
