NCPRD status change for Happy Valley residents

Registration for summer programs offered by the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) opened today for district residents.

Due to the city of Happy Valley’s action last year to withdraw from NCPRD, Happy Valley residents are considered out-of-district participants for NCPRD programs that begin on or after July 1. Happy Valley residents can enroll in programs that begin on or after July 1 starting next Tuesday, April 17 – the registration opening date for all out-of-district participants.

From today until next Tuesday, Happy Valley residents can only register for programs that start prior to July 1.

Happy Valley residents are eligible to enroll in the same NCPRD recreational and sports programs as before. There are no changes to rates and registration dates for Happy Valley residents registered in programs that start before July 1. Following July 1, Happy Valley residents will be charged out-of-district rates.

NCPRD’s online registration system has been upgraded to make signing up for recreational programs and classes easier than ever. All patrons will need to create a new account in order to register for 2018 summer programs. Get information on setting up a new account at www.ncprd.com.
