Clackamas County Parks has applied for a Conditional Use permit to establish a new County park at the Hardscrabble Quarry property.
Clackamas County Parks has released a request for proposals (RFP) for a qualified consultant for design and engineering services for the Boring Station Trailhead Park project. RFP packets are available at Clackamas County Purchasing, telephone 503-742-5444.
The overflow back parking lot at Boones Ferry Marina is closed as of October 1, 2009 until Spring 2010 The access gate at Wagon Wheel Park is closed until the opening of fishing season again.
Off-Roading is not allowed at Wagon Wheel Park per Clackamas County Parks Ordinance 6.06.11.05 "No person shall operate a motor vehicle on any park trail, or on any area within a park, which is not paved or graveled unless specifically marked as an area for motor vehicles." Subject to fines.

At Metzler Park you can play for the day - or stay the night. All 70 campsites are in a wooded setting. Restroom facilities include flush toilets and hot showers.

Directions To Metzler Park
Metzler Park is located approximately 5 miles south of Estacada. Take Interstate 205 to Exit 12, Clackamas/Estacada, and turn eastbound onto Hwy. 212/224. Proceed 3.2 miles through Clackamas to the Hwy. 212/224 junction (Rock Creek junction), turn right onto Hwy. 224, proceed 15.1 miles following the signs to Estacada. Pass through Estacada, just on the outskirts of Estacada, turn right onto Hwy. 211, crossing a bridge. Go 4.0 miles to Tucker Rd.; turn right. Proceed .5 miles and make a sharp left turn onto Metzler Park Rd. The park entrance is 1.6 miles down the road.
